Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (onions, potatoes, spinach, and cauliflower), finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Water, as needed
  • Oil for frying

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously, until you achieve a thick, smooth batter consistency.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped mixed vegetables and fresh coriander leaves into the batter, ensuring an even distribution.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, making small fritters. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
